Manhattan speech, language, and literacy with the mission of
sharing her love of reading with all.
Elizabeth is a career educator who has worked with public, private, and independent learning institutions on 6 continents. After spending a decade in New York City schools, she decided to focus her literacy expertise through Manhattan Speech Language, & Literacy, LLC. Manhattan SLL provides individual tutoring, family coaching, and professional development locally and abroad.
Elizabeth is committed to utilizing the most current research-based practices in her instruction of both students and educators. Presently Elizabeth is conducting her own research on reading as a doctoral student. In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Externship Supervisor at Hunter College, CUNY.
ManhattanSLL's expertise lies at the intersection of language & learning. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher PK-12, Elizabeth brings a fresh and unique perspective to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of language disorders, specific learning disabilities (including dyslexia & dysgraphia), and their interrelatedness.
