Hi, I’m Elizabeth!

I’m looking forward to partnering towards your child’s success.

Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP I have an in-depth knowledge of how cognitive and linguistic development from birth can impact later academic achievement. As such, I am uniquely positioned to support not just learning but also the underlying areas that influence learning.

Orton-Gillingham Academy Associate A/AOG I’ve completed over 200 hours of coursework and 300 hours of practicum to become certified at the Associate level by the Academy of Orton Gillingham. Orton Gillingham (OG) is an individualized, multisensory, cognitive and emotionally sound approach to teaching reading and spelling. OG is widely considered the gold standard of literacy instruction.

Doctoral Student I am working towards completing my Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) at Hunter College CUNY. My research explores literacy, multisensory learning, dis/ability, and culturally sustaining practices.

Adjunct Professor I’m an adjunct lecturer and clinical educator within Hunter College’s Speech Pathology department.

Teacher Prior to the founding of Manhattan Speech, Language, & Literacy, I spent over a decade working in schools. I hold a teaching license and two administrative licenses with New York State.

NYC Parent I live in Brooklyn Heights with my husband and 1-year-old daughter. As both a parent and professional, I have a distinctive understanding of the city’s learning landscape, culture, and expectations.
